FIELD: medicine; electronics; chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to diaphragms and technology of their manufacture and may be used in a microfiltration, ultrafiltration for purification of liquids and gases in medicine, electronics engineering, catalysis and other fields. The perforated diaphragm made out of a sheet material based on a foil with porosity of 10-90 % has on its surface at least on one its side a ceramic coating applied by an action on it of the microplasma discharges during formation of its through pores. The method of manufacture of the perforated diaphragm out of a sheet material is characterized by action on it of an electric current in a liquid medium, predominantly in the electrolytic medium. For this purpose a sheet material is positioned on an interface of two liquid phases, then they excite and keep the plasma discharges on the surface of the sheet material till formation of the through pores in it. Technical result: the invention allows to produce perforated diagrams with good rust resistance, biocompatibility and extended range of application.
