POPOV'S SHEARER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: polygraphic industry. SUBSTANCE: Popova's shearer is intended for cutting the roll polygraphic materials in sheets of formats of the given length. The shearer contains: a stand, a drive to start an engine, a clutch and mechanical drives, a delivery table, a mechanism to position and rise a paper roll, a removing shaft, an ejecting roller, paper driving shafts, a cutting gear containing two shafts , one of which is movable and another one is rigidly fixed on the stand, and a measuring cylinder kinematically linked with the drive and the rotating shaft of the cutting gear in such a manner, that for one revolution of the rotating shaft passes a sheet of the given length of the format. Rotation from the shaft is transferred to the measuring cylinder by means of a chain drive and pair of changeable toothed wheels. The clutch contains an external rotating body, on which there are pulleys of a different diameter and the fixed internal body rigidly linked with an additional lever. The lever is connected with the stand by means of an additional shaft and is supplied with a mechanism of regulation and fixation. Inside the immovable body there is a hollow shaft. The external body and the hollow shaft are revolving in respect to the immovable body in bearings. Control of the clutch is exercised by a drive. The offered design of the shearer ensures decrease of metal consumption, increase of accuracy of cutting and increase in technological effectiveness both in production and in operation. EFFECT: the invention allows to decrease metal consumption, to increase cutting accuracy and effectiveness of production and operation. 4 dwg
