FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly for bed degraded surface rebuilding and pond bed protection against water-flow erosion. SUBSTANCE: anti-erosion revetment, particularly above underwater pipeline comprises mat of reinforced elastic strips repeatedly bent in opposite directions and connected to each other in staggered rows. Elastic strips form grid with cells in working position. Mat is connected along edged facing upstream or downstream with anchors made as hollow cylinders and having ballast. Anchors are joined along their ends by two flexible ties to which mat is connected. Anchors have valves with remote control or remotely detachable flexible pipelines which fill cavities with ballast. In transportation position revetment is a set of strips connected together with anchors into transportation unit. Revetment installation is performed by water-craft located across water flow and fixed by two ropes with winches. Crane and two ropes with winches are used for revetment installation by utilization of water flow influence upon revetment and water-craft. Method of revetment installation involves stretching revetment and placing revetment on bed protection area. Crane ropes, winch ropes and floats are secured to anchors by remote detachable connection means.
