FIELD: nuclear fuel recovery. SUBSTANCE: proposed single-stage recovery method includes treatment of spent fuel with fluorine or fluorine-containing compound as well as evaporation and extraction of only part of uranium from this fuel. Then liquid solution containing nuclear fuel material produced from spent nuclear fuel after some amount of its uranium has been extracted is treated with solvent, plutonium and/or uranium are extracted therefrom, these elements being then transferred to organic solvent. Plutonium and/or uranium are reextracted from organic solvent and transferred to liquid solution. EFFECT: enhanced decontamination factor, reduced amount of nitric acid used in the process. 7 cl, 5 dwg
