FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes fuel dissolution, extraction of uranium nitrates and actinides and re-extraction. In the process of dissolution of irradiated nuclear fuel the collection of gaseous products of fission, which contain krypton isotopes is carried out, with the further supply of the latter to absorption by means of activated coal or zeolite, with the following desorption of the gaseous krypton isotopes from activated coal or zeolite and compression of the krypton isotopes.
EFFECT: increase of krypton holding and reduction of the emission of gaseous radionuclides into the environment.
