FIELD: rolled stock production, namely stands of helical rolling mills for making tubes and balls. SUBSTANCE: two-high stand of helical rolling mill includes housing with cover; drums arranged in turnings of housing and having lower and upper sectors between which cartridge with rolling roll is placed. Said drums are mutually joined and they are joined with cartridge by means of cylindrical articulation joint. Stand also includes guiding tool, mechanisms for mounting rolls by feed angle and mechanisms for mounting rolls by rolling out angle and dimensions in the form of screw-down mechanisms. Cover is hinged one and it is mounted on axle arranged normally relative to rolling axis at back side of stand. One half of hinged cover engages directly with one drum; its second half engages through compensator with second drum. Sectors of drum have protrusion engaging with cartridge and limiting rolling out angle. Upper sector is joined in addition with cylindrical articulation joint. Screws of screw-down mechanism for setting according to rolling out angle and dimension are provided with individual drive units. EFFECT: enhanced quality of rolled products due to improved accuracy of tuning according to deformation zone location. 4 dwg
