FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: four-high stand of slant rolling mill comprises a stand that consists of a body and a hingedly joined cover, two vertical and two horizontal drums with rollers placed in the stand, mechanism of rollers setting and mechanisms of drum rotation. The possibility to create a stiff structure that perceives all rolling forces, and also the possibility to withdraw rollers, as they are transferred, together with drums, is ensured due to the fact that the body of the stand is made in the form of two sides joined to each other by means of a cross beam, the stand cover - in the form of a cross beam that is similar in design to the cross beam of the stand body. Vertical drums with mechanisms of rollers setting are arranged in the cross beam of the stand body and the cover, horizontal drums are placed in bores of the stand, and mechanisms of rollers setting interacting with them - in sides of the stand body. Besides, each mechanism of drum rotation is made in the form of two helical stops arranged in the stand and contacting with blocks fixed on the drum.
EFFECT: invention is designed to increase accuracy of deformation zone setting and to speed up the process of rollers transfer in production of high-precision pipes at slant rolling mills with four-high stands.
