FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a complex binding agent for production of iron-ore pellets and is dealt with a process of preparation of iron-ores to a metallurgical reprocessing. The complex binding agent contains bentonite, a natrium-bearing compound and a water-soluble polymer. The water-soluble polymer is introduced as a self-contained binding agent and in its capacity they use a polymer with viscosity of 5000 up to 200000 mPa/s at concentration of 2 % after Brookfield and at a speed of dissolution in water of not exceeding 15 mines at the following ratio of ingredients (mass %): the natrium-bearing compound 0.1-6.0; the water-soluble polymer 0.1-3.0; bentonite the rest. In the capacity of the water-soluble polymer ethers of cellulose and starch or polysaccharide or polymethacrylamides are used at the same ratio of ingredients. The invention will allow to increase the mechanical properties of raw pellets, to reduce the complex binding agent consumption, to increase metallurgical properties of the pellets. EFFECT: increased mechanical properties of raw pellets and metallurgical properties of the pellets, reduced the complex binding agent consumption. 4 cl, 4 tbl
