METHOD FOR ISOLATING WATER INFLUX AND ABSORPTION AREA, AND ALSO FOR SHUTOFF OF WELL LAYER, AND DEVICE REALIZING SAID METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2227203 C1

FIELD: oil extracting industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes placement of gas generator with working substance of several charges of solid fuel, containing base in form of powder-shaped metal for receiving isolating mixture as a result of gas generator activation. Mixture is fed into area of layer isolation under pressure generated by gas generator. According to the invention gas generator without housing is used. First, ignition of at least one gas only generating charge is performed. This charge is used to force well fluid from isolation area and simultaneous warming of well walls surface and surface layers of isolated layer. Then, with a time delay, enough for forcing well fluid from isolation area, but no more then one third of said gas only generating charge burning time, a set of charges is ignited for generating isolating mixture. During that as a base for receiving isolating mixture powder-shaped metal or a system of two such metals is used, said metals not reacting with aggressive liquids and oxides of which metals can form eutectic alloy with oxides of isolated layer. Device has gas generator with working substance of several charges of solid fuel, containing base for forming isolating mixture. According to the invention gas generator without housing is used. Working substance is at least one charge of gas only generating charge solid fuel, placed below inside the gas generator, and a set of charges of compound solid fuel, generating isolating mixture. Between gas generating charge and isolating mixture generating charges, delay mechanism of ignition of latter is placed. EFFECT: increased isolation effectiveness, quality and reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
