SUBSTANCE: proposed gear-box case if made in form of extrusion profile with flat outer surfaces and through cylindrical hole 1 in longitudinal direction of extrusion profile. Case has slots 3 in flat outer surfaces (4, 5, 6, 7) which are inclined relative to one another at angle of 90 deg. One flat outer surface of case 2 has hole 8 whose circumferential surface intersects side surface of through hole 1. Slots 3 have T-shaped or trapezoidal or dovetail cuts. Hole 9 of slot 3 located in flat outer surface has minimum clearance of cross section of slot. EFFECT: simplified construction. 8 cl, 7 dwg
