FIELD: sources of optical pumping of laser radiators, applicable in compact mobile laser systems requiring an independent pumping source of the active body of the laser radiator. SUBSTANCE: the lamp has a high-strength optically transparent body filled with an oxidant, pressed in a base with a petticoat. The base accommodates a pyrotechnical charge including a primer, whose contacts are brought out to the coaxial base of the lamp base, whose gap is filled with a dielectric. A packing in the form of a reverse truncated cone with a weighed portion of fuel isolated from the oxidant by a PVC film is fastened on the primer body. An electric pulse is applied to the contacts in the lamp base by a command of the operator of the laser system. The primer gets actuated, due to which the pressure inside the packing sharply rises. As a result, the PVC film is ruptured, the powdery fuel is ejected and distributed in the body space with simultaneous inflammation of the formed mixture of fuel and oxidant. An exothermic reaction of oxidation of fuel takes place, whose part of the energy is released in the form of optical radiation of the visible band.
