SUBSTANCE: proposed method designed for use in developing digital coders for digital photographic cameras and video still cameras, video telephony, and digital television involves following procedures: entire current information residing in coder and related to one or more frames is divided during intermediate coding step into two or more groups of different volume; most data are processed inside coder proper and remaining data groups (one or more) are transferred to additional (one or more) remote coding devices (remote server or servers) wherein they are processed according to predetermined coding algorithm and then returned to coder, whereupon all data are finally encoded within this coder.
