SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for coding of video information, including: reception of video information; coding of video information in a video stream with different video levels, including the base level and at least two improvement levels, besides, the base level has the first level of spatial resolution and the first level of time resolution, one of improvement levels increases the first level of spatial resolution, and the other of improvement levels increases the first level of time resolution; and insertion of a uniquely identified start code into the video stream for indication of a point of entry in the video stream for each of the base level and the specified improvement levels, at the same time, depending on the value of the start code, for each of the base level and the specified improvement levels, a specific decoder must be activated.
EFFECT: reduced complexity of multimedia processing.
