EXTRUDER FOR PRODUCTION OF COMBINED PRODUCTS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for extrusion treatment of food stuff; food-processing industry; production of corn sticks. SUBSTANCE: proposed extruder has housing with loading channel, mold and drive gear. Mold consists of hollow screw feeder, matrix and perforated limiter for limiting motion of product. Located inside hollow screw feeder is cylindrical tube whose end section has thread at mold outlet. Matrix has long cylindrical sleeve on one side which enters extruder housing to center of mixing zone; on other side it has thread over outer surface of matrix and inner cone-shaped channels connecting last turn of screw feeder with extruder outlet. Perforated motion limiter is mounted in circular slot on end face of matrix. EFFECT: improved quality of processing products due to intensification of action of compressive forces causing repeated shear deformation of extrudant melt; extended functional capabilities. 3 dwg
