FIELD: cleaning oily waste water. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes pipe line supplying initial oil waste water, pressure hydraulic cyclone whose outlet is provided with cylindrical overflow and underflow chambers and settler with distributing units for water overflow and underflow. Settler is provided with distributing partitions and unit for discharge of cleaned water, oil and sediment. Hydraulic cyclone and cylindrical chambers are mounted horizontally. Ratio of diameter of cylindrical overflow chamber D_over of hydraulic cyclone to diameter of drain branch pipe d_over is equal to D_over:d_over=4.5-5. Ratio of diameter of underflow chamber D_under to diameter of underflow branch pipe of hydraulic cyclone d_under is equal to D_under:d_under= 3-4.
