Sodium thiopental is administered with at a dose of 2 g in 200 ml of physiological salt solution by dropping the mixture at a rate of 30 ml/min to reach patient falling in sleep and then at a rate of 2.2 ml/min. EFFECT: reduced risk of complications; improved anesthesia control; avoided inhibitory influence upon the nervous system.
