SHAPING STAND Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: processes and equipment for plastic working of metals, namely plastic working of metallic sheets by means of specially shaped rolls, possibly in ferrous metallurgy, machine engineering, in building for making bent shapes or shaped tubular blanks in aggregates for manufacturing welded tubes. SUBSTANCE: each roll in shaping stand is provided with mechanism for angle regulation. Said mechanism is in the form of worm gearing whose wheel is stationary mounted in housing and whose worm is mounted on slide. Annular protrusion is provided at least in one end of stand housing; said annular protrusion has basic cylindrical surfaces in outer and inner sides, said surfaces are designed for engaging with cylindrical basic surfaces of slides. Annular rectangular groove on said one end of stand housing is designed for placing mechanisms for angular regulation of rolls. Annular grooves for placing slides are T-shaped ones and they are arranged on said protrusion. Invention provides piece shaping of high-quality sheet material. EFFECT: enhanced quality of shaped products, enlarged manufacturing possibilities of stand. 4 dwg
