FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for preparing mixtures of monoolefinic mononitriles with 5 carbon atoms comprising non-coupled double bond carbon-carbon and triple carbon-nitrogen bond by catalytic hydrocyanidation of 1,3-butadiene or 1,3-butadiene-containing mixture of hydrocarbons. Process is carried under enhanced temperature and pressure in the presence of catalyst comprising metallocene complex with trivalent phosphorus and nickel with zero valence comprising monodentate or bidentate metallocene ligand with trivalent phosphorus of the general formula (I) wherein R1 means residue of the formula PL2, wherein residues L can be similar or different and mean alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl; R1′ means hydrogen atom, alkyl or residue of the formula PL2, wherein residues L have above given value; are taken independently of one another among group consisting of oxygen atom, cycloalkyl, aryl or alkyl that can be broken by oxygen atom or can be substituted with residue of the formula NE1E2 wherein E1 and E2 can be similar or different and mean alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl, or two among substituents R2, R3, R4, R5 and/or R2′, R3′, R4′, R5′ at adjacent positions in common with part of cyclopentadienyl ring binding them can form aromatic or non-aromatic 5-7-membered carbocycle or heterocycle that can comprise one, two or three heteroatoms taken among group consisting of oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur atom; M means iron, cobalt, nickel, ruthenium, osmium, rhodium, manganese, chrome or vanadium atom; or their salts and mixtures. Method provides carrying out hydrocyanidation reaction using catalyst with good catalytic activity for preparing compounds with high selectivity. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 13 cl, 1 tbl, 4 ex
