FIELD: heat power industry, boilers of thermal power stations burning gas and coal dust. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of multifunctional burner lies in rise of branch pipe feeding air and dust with reference to internal surface of ceiling of air and dust exhaust conduit, in implementation of air conduits of the latter in the form of pressure ducts, in fitting of the latter with vertical screened panels on side of embrasure, in manufacture of air exhaust windows in the form of discharge orifices in these panels, in displacement of panels from embrasure towards air and dust feeding branch pipe, in location of vertex of pitch in inlet window of contraction section of air and dust exhaust conduit, in displacement of plane of exhaust of gas exhaust nozzles to inlet window of contraction section of air and gas exhaust conduit. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of burning of low-grade coal with reduced amount of incompletely burnt coal with decreased concentration of nitrogen oxide in exit gases, increased operational reliability of burner. 9 dwg
