FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ammunition, and namely to artillery cartridges. An artillery cartridge contains a case, a body with a shank, a powder propellant charge, a functional kit, a detonation candle, an igniter, a nose fuse and a detonator. The charge is initiated from a central igniter. The shank of the thin-wall body of the shell is equipped with a bottom undercut. The shank has a drive device in the form of a number of ready-made projections for spiral grooves of a gun barrel. The nose fuse is arranged in a mounting conical sleeve. The detonator adjoins an axial detonation candle arranged coaxially to a cylindrical cover of the functional kit of the shell body. The sleeve carrying an elastic gasket on a flange is connected to the shank through pins broken off when firing a shot. Pins are distributed along the perimeter. The shell body in the shank is installed flush and rigidly attached by means of a cuff. The cuff is made in the form of radial corrugations filled with anaerobic sealant. The cylindrical cover of the functional kit of the body is made from thermobaric composition.
