SEEDING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: apiculture, in particular, equipment used for queen breeding and obtaining of mother liquor. SUBSTANCE: seeding apparatus has casing made in the form of hive case with closable opening formed in two opposite walls (preferably side walls). Apparatus is mounted in casing so that its inlet guiding unit is aligned with said opening in one wall of hive case and its outlet guiding unit is aligned with opening in opposite wall of hive case. Soft sweeping fences are positioned inside seeding apparatus forward (in course of advancement of artificial comb) of walls equipped with openings for passage of artificial comb, said fences serving for preventing queen or bees from getting into space between movable comb and edge of walls equipped with openings, as well as for agitating queen and bees. So, subsequent comb is moved into one closable opening of seeding apparatus while seeded comb is withdrawn from other closable opening. EFFECT: simplified labor for bee keeper and improved quality of eggs laid in cups. 2 cl, 2 dwg
