FIELD: gasothermic deposition, namely equipment for electric arc plating. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for electric arc plating includes nozzle with inlet cylindrical portion and outlet portion having two cylindrical nozzles with similar diameters; electric current supply leads. Axes of said two nozzles are parallel relative to axis of nozzle; two electrodes made of wire are inclined to point of their convergence arranged on axis of nozzle behind cut zone of its outlet portion. Cylindrical nozzles have helical ribs on inner surface. Geometry parameters of apparatus are determined according to given relations. EFFECT: enhanced physical and mechanical properties of coating due to increased length of initial portion of metal-air flow stream whose cross section area is equal to that of inlet nozzle. 2 cl, 2 dwg
