Abstract RU 2254933 C2

FIELD: spraying equipment, particularly for applying coatings by dispersion of electric arc fused wire material with compressed air and for applying wear-resistant and antifriction coatings.

SUBSTANCE: spraying head comprises a cap mounted on support panel with counting windows. Non-fusible tungsten electrode-cathode is arranged inside special nozzle and directed along axis thereof. Electrode wires, namely anodes in guiding tubes with position adjusting heads are in contact with tungsten electrode. Annular nozzle forming cavity communicating with compressed air source is installed in the cap. Cap comprises annular channel surrounding outlet nozzle of spraying head cap. Tungsten electrode is connected with central nozzle body, which in turn is connected to air duct through isolation bush. Electrode wires are delivered from reels in arc burning area by roller mechanisms. Guiding tubes of the wires are secured in support panel by screws. Tungsten electrode is connected with negative pole of current source through contact clamp. Electrode wires are connected with positive pole through contacts of the wire tubes. Special nozzle is provided with channels, namely with common air cooling channel located along central nozzle and tungsten electrode axes and compressed air channels extending in parallel to axial one and serving to supply compressed air in space between tungsten electrode and wires. Non-fusible electrode is fixed in the body by screw. Compressed air is simultaneously fed in all tubes, then voltage is applied to electrodes and electrode wire movement mechanism is actuated.

EFFECT: possibility to obtain high-quality combined coatings having different properties, namely wear-resistant, antifriction and protective-decorative coatings, increased reliability, widened capabilities and improved quality of metal coating.
