FIELD: automatic welding of low-alloy cold-strength steels of high strength by means of low alloy wires. SUBSTANCE: flux contains, mass%: fluorspar, 22 - 30; electrocorundum, 14 - 25; fired magnetite, 22 - 31; sphene concentrate, 10 - 20; metallic manganese, 1.3 - 3.0; ferrotitanium, 1.2 - 2.8; ferroboron, 0.1 - 0.8; titanomagnetite, 0.4 - 0.9; ferrosilicon, 0.3 - 1.0; sodium-potassium silicate, 7.7 - 8.9. Relation of total content of magnesite, fluorspar and 1/3 of sphene concentrate to total content of 2/3 of sphene concentrate, 2/3 of sodium- potassium silicate and 1/2 of electrocorundum is selected in range 1.7 - 2.3; relation of ferrotitanium to ferroboron is selected in range 6.0 - 15.0. Flux provides high cold strength of welded joint in temperature range (-40) - (-50) C. EFFECT: enhanced welding properties of ceramic flux due to its lowered viscosity, enlarged manufacturing possibilities of flux due to desired concave contour of welded seam at welding angular and T-shaped joints, high cold strength of welded joint. 3 tbl
