FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for automatic welding at alternating current with flux of heat resistant pearlite steels used in nuclear power engineering. Agglomerated flux contains components in the following ratio, wt%: calcined magnesite 24.4–27.6; electrocorundum 19.8–22.0; synthetic slag 14.3–17.0; fluorspar – 23.0–24.5; titanium-magnetite concentrate 0.3–0.5; barium fluoride 0.6–1.0; potassium chloride – 0.7–1.6; zirconium oxide 0.8–1.5; metal of manganese 2.0–2.2; ferrotitanium 0.7–0.9; ferrosilicon 0.3–0.5; sodium silicate 7.0–7.5. Ratio of total content of potassium chloride, 5/8 sodium silicate, 3/8 zirconium oxide, 1/8 of electrocorundum and 1/16 of synthetic slag to total content of 5/8 barium fluoride, 1/8 of calcium fluoride and 1/16 of burned magnesite is not less than 2. Ratio of manganese metal to total content of ferrotitanium and ferrosilicon makes at least 2. Synthetic slag has the following composition, wt%: silicon oxide 15–35; calcium oxide 45–60; aluminum oxide 5–10; calcium fluoride 8–16.
EFFECT: application of flux provides for increased resistance of weld metal against brittle fractures at welding with wire Sv-15HGMTA after high tempering.
