FIELD: water purification for needs of industry and inhabitants. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an installation for water purification from iron by ozone treatment and is dealt with purification of underwaters used mainly for industrial needs and the needs of population. The installation contains the chamber of oxidation with a branch-pipe for delivery of the initial water and a pipeline for export of treated water. The pipeline is connected with a filter performing a final stage of water purification. After the filter the purified water is available for consumers. Above the chamber of oxidation there is an ejector, which is connected to an ozone generator. The water from the chamber of oxidation with the help of a pump arrives in the ejector, and from the ejector back in the chamber of oxidation. These devices linked by the pipeline arrange a circulation circuit. Inside the chamber of oxidation there is a cavitation device. It is made in the form of two discs of the equal size with ledges on versed located on surfaces facing each other. The discs are mounted with a positive allowance and are rigidly fixed to each other. The ledges are made narrowing down to the positive allowance. The upper disc using its central through channel is connected to the pipeline linked with the ejector. Incoming from the ejector water saturated with ozone and air is exposed to cavitation. At the expense of the increased pressure of the incoming water, its multiple expansion, compression at passing through the space between the ledges of discs of the cavitation device, mechanical impacts against them the cavitation processes are actuated, and efficiency of water purification is increased due to intensification of oxidation of contaminants. EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of water purification due to intensification of oxidation of contaminants. 4 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
