FIELD: weaponry, applicable in self-loading weapon. SUBSTANCE: the gas regulator of weapon breechblock recoil speed has a gas chamber connected to the bore by means of a gas vent with a hole for disposal of gases, with a spring-loaded gas valve. The novelty is in the fact that the gas chamber is made detachable and installed on a "dovetail" boss, and the plate spring is secured by a screw joint for installation of an adjusting washer. The gas chamber is made with two gas vents symmetrically located valves. Besides, this gas valve is made for self-adjustment in the hole for disposal of gases. EFFECT: provided assembly and disassembly of the device in the field conditions without special tools. 4 cl, 3 dwg
