FIELD: computerized education technology. SUBSTANCE: method includes use of computer system for forming flexible information space containing database with organized causes and matching symptoms of interruptions of technological processes, device for generating causes, device for generating symptoms, device for evaluating knowledge and skills of trainee, device for recording exam data, interface for trainee with device for generating causes, device for generating symptoms and device for evaluating, interface for trainer with database, device for evaluating and device for recording exam data. Flexible information space is formed by means of replenishment of database by a user due to summarizing known typical interruptions of technological processes, analysis of interruptions on real technological devices of given factory, modeling of situations on computerized simulators and using expert opinions of specialists. Method further includes consecutive generation and presentation of separate causes to trainee with a set of symptoms, portion of which matches presented causes, for picking correct symptoms, consecutive generation and presentation of separate sets of symptoms to trainee with several causes, one of which matches a presented symptoms set, for picking a correct cause. In training mode trainee is presented with correct answers for each selection, in exam mode trainee is presented with general mark for complete task which consists of number of selections previously set by user. User may adjust parameters of evaluation of correction of answer selection by trainee. User is also presented with detailed record of exam for each trainee for analysis and attestation of knowledge and skills of trainee. EFFECT: method allows to compensate for existing mismatch between theoretical basics of basic safety skills education and effective controlling of technological processes and modern informational technologies.
