FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method refers to computer-aided means teaching operators and attendance personnel of technological plants and to testing their knowledge and skills of effective and safe execution of technological processes. Method of automated teaching of effective search for causes of disruption in run of technological processes involves computer system forming flexible information space provided with knowledge base foreseeing systematization of causes and indications of disruptions in run of technological processes corresponding to them. Computer system is provided with device generating tasks of diagnostics including set of causes and symptoms, device generating causes and initial symptom corresponding to it presented to learner, device evaluating reliability of prepared teaching hypotheses and significance of information requests selected by learner, device evaluating knowledge and skills of learner under conditions of training and examination, device for adjustment of parameters of evaluation of hypotheses, information requests and skills of learner by user, device recoding examination, learner's interface with device generating causes and initial symptom, with device evaluating reliability of hypotheses and information requests, device evaluating level of knowledge and skills o learner, user's interface with knowledge base with device evaluating hypotheses and information requests, device evaluating knowledge and skills of learner, device for adjustment of evaluation parameters, device recording examination. Flexible information space is formed by replenishment by user of knowledge base at the expense of generalization of typical disturbances of run of technological process, analysis of disturbances on real technological plants of specific enterprise, modeling of situations on computer trainers and enlisting of expert evaluations of specialists. Individual tasks of diagnostics containing set of causes and symptoms of disturbance of run of technological processes are generated, causes of disturbances are generated, initial symptom corresponding to specified cause is generated and presented to learner, hypotheses with reference to selected cause and information requests on significance of symptoms realized by operator in order to diagnose specified cause are received from learner, information on correctness of obtained hypotheses and on significance of requested symptoms are presented to learner, correctness of obtained hypotheses and significance of made information requests are evaluated. Results of solving of diagnostic problem under conditions of training and examination are utilized to evaluate knowledge and skills of learner, give user opportunity to adjusts parameters of evaluation of information requests, knowledge and skills of learner, present user with detailed protocol of examination of each learner for analysis and certification of knowledge and skills of learner.
EFFECT: opportunity to fill up existing gap between theoretical basis of education to basic skills of safety and effective control over technological processes and present-day information technologies.
