METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF DOUBLE-SIDED BULKY WEB OF ARTICLE MADE FROM LEATHER AND/OR FUR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: light industry, in particular, manufacture of pieces of clothing, decorative articles and fancy goods in fur dressing. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing 4-8 mm wide fur strip; moistening fur strip; fixing one edge thereof by means of stakes or nails on wooden surface; twisting strip along the entire length with hairy side directed outside; securing other edge of strip and drying it in such state; applying on fur or leather base pattern composed of straight and curved lines; providing 3-6 mm wide slots perpendicular or at an angle to pattern lines, with slots being arranged in pairs so as to define belt between them, space between slots being 2-6 mm and space between adjacent pairs being 7-15 mm; passing fur cord through slots formed in web. EFFECT: wider range of articles manufactured from such web owing to usage of novel versions of material surfaces forming processes, increased decorative effect of articles produced, useful utilization of fur and leather semi-finished products. 5 cl, 3 dwg
