METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF DOUBLE-SIDED OPENWORK WEB OF ARTICLE FROM LEATHER AND/OR FUR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: light industry, in particular, fur dressing, manufacture of decorative and applied art products and fancy goods. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming web from individual matrix members cut by means of pattern and joined to one another in predetermined sequence by passing loops of one matrix member through connecting openings of other matrix member without using joining members, such as threads. Individual matrix members used for forming of web are manufactured from various kinds of leather and fur of different colors. Webs are made double sided, openwork- type and three-dimensional. All members are made from whole fur skins, as well as from fur dressing scrap. Wide range of products are manufactured by using novel weaving and knitting processes. Method allows joining strength of individual members to be increased and useful utilization of fur and leather semi-finished products and scrap to be provided. EFFECT: increased decorative effect, wider range of products manufactured from openwork web, provision for substantially wasteless process by extensive use of scrap, and reduced labor intensity. 4 cl, 2 dwg
