LOCKING DEVICE TO LOCK HALF-MOLDS OF INJECTION-MOLDING MACHINE, FOR EXAMPLE, OF A THERMOPLASTAUTOMATIC (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: automatic injection-molding machines operation. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a locking device to lock half-molds of an automatic injection machine and is dealt with the field of casting machines, in particular, with the equipment of pressure casting, and may be used for locking half-molds of thermoplastautomatics. The locking device has four pairs of slide blocks with the segment-shape cut-outs. In a closed position the slide blocks embrace plungers along their annular grooves inner diameter. The sliding blocks of counter direction motion in the different upper and lower pairs are fused in the same way by two 4 link equal-arm hinged lever systems (top and bottom). Two similar directed links in each of them are fused among themselves by a pull stud with a reciprocal motion drive mounted on it and other two are fused by the rod of the pull stud. In the first version the pivot axes of these links in respect to the pull stud and its rod and the rod axis are in the same plane. In the second version two apertures in these links in the place of fuse either with the pull stud or with the rod are made in the form of a groove. The technical result is an increase of an overall performance and improvement of the installation-operation properties.
