MACHINE TOOL FOR MAKING SLITS IN CARDBOARD BLANKS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of cardboard articles, namely equipment for making slits in cardboard blanks. SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes apparatus for placing blanks; mounted in housing of machine tool mechanism for feeding blanks having adjustable grip; upper and lower shafts rotating in opposite directions and carrying cutters for making slits; members for limiting motion of blanks in longitudinal and cross directions. Mechanism for feeding blanks is in the form of holding-feeding shaft with discs mounted in it with possibility of motion along shaft and having sawing needle type protrusions. Holding and feeding shaft is joined with upper cutting-through shaft by means of chain transmission. EFFECT: improved design of machine tool due to using blank feeding mechanism with increased useful life period and with reliable adjustment of gripping blanks. 1 dwg
