MACHINE TOOL FOR MAKING SLITS IN CARDBOARD BLANKS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of cardboard articles, namely equipment for making slits in cardboard blanks of cardboard boxes. SUBSTANCE: machine tool apparatus for placing blanks; blank feed mechanism mounted in housing and having adjustable clamp; upper and lower rotating one towards another shafts with cutters for making slits; members for limiting motion of Blanks in longitudinal and cross directions. Blank feed mechanism is in the form of shaft supporting holding-feeding drums mounted on said shaft with possibility motion along axis of shaft and having clamps. Said drum is joined with slit making shaft through chain transmission provided with deflecting sprocket mounted in groove of guiding strut having dial. Along shafts for making slits at their one edge disc cutters are mounted; said disc cutters are designed for leveling blanks. Beams of housing are used for changing distance between keeping-feeding shaft and slit-making shaft. EFFECT: improved design of machine tool. 2 dwg
