FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparation of copolyamide, which may be used for manufacture of hot adhesives and hot-melting powders in chemical, textile, and clothing industries. Method consists in melting together 57-62% ε-caprolactam and 38-41% hexamethylenediammonium adipate (AG salt) at 90o followed by polymerization at 240o for 1 h. Further, 1-2% acryl powder as modifier is added containing 50% methyl methacrylate and 50% methyl acrylate, while simultaneously, during 5 h, raising temperature to 260o and pressure to 1.5 MPa.
