FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to corrosion protection of steel well equipment and pipelines belonging to crude oil and waste water collection systems. Corrosion inhibitor is prepared by mixing light tallow oils with polyethylene-polyamine followed by stirring and condensation reaction effected in two steps: the first during 1 h at 95-98(r) and the second during 2h at 140-145(r) with simultaneous distillation of water. At the end of the second step, methanol and still residue from butyl alcohol process (45-55 and 7-19%, respectively) are added to reaction mixture so that weight ratio of tallow oils to polyethylene-polyamine in reaction mixture were 6.1:1.0 and concentration of methanol in reaction mixture 2%. EFFECT: enabled preparation of inexpensive inhibitor involving easily accessible method. 1 tbl
