FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes boring of bore-holes along contour of face-adjacent massive for a depth of face displacement, circular boring of face-adjacent massive, charging of bore-holes, separation of face-adjacent massive from contour-adjacent with forming of ring-shaped crack, and following destruction of face-adjacent massive by explosion of bore-holes charges of explosive material. For separation of face-adjacent massive of rock from contour-adjacent one, bore-holes located along the contour of face-adjacent massive are charged with powder of non-explosive destructive substance NRS-1, under influence of which destruction of blocks between bore-holes and forming of ring-shaped crack occur. Process of non-explosive separation of face-adjacent massive from contour-adjacent one is combined with circular boring of face-adjacent massive for charging bore-holes charges of explosive material. EFFECT: higher effectiveness of driving with forming of form of given cross-section and with higher stability of contour-adjacent rock massive. 2 dwg
