FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of blasting operations in mining industry, construction and is intended for separation and cutting of blocks of natural stone from rocks of various strengths as borehole charges, as well as borehole and well charges when driving mine workings using contour blasting on earth surface and in faces of underground workings. Charge for breaking of rocks is a cylindrical elongated charge of high explosive, consisting of ammonium nitrate or a mixture of ammonium nitrate with a solid combustible additive, with a sensitizing agent, with an additive increasing the explosion temperature, the initiator of which is a detonating cord arranged coaxially inside. High-explosive charge is arranged in a shell consisting of polypropylene tape, thread and elastic waterproof shell made of thermoplastic material, which are arranged in layers. Ends of charge for breaking of rocks are sealed. Linear mass and composition of explosive charge of mine action and its geometric dimensions are selected depending on properties of rock, borehole diameter or well.

EFFECT: invention allows more effective use of explosion products energy, reduced specific consumption of explosive substance, minimized or completely eliminated disturbance of structure of stone or contour area in zone adjoining to charge, improved manufacturability, quality and safety of blasting operations, expanded area of its application.
