METHOD FOR EVALUATING EFFICIENCY IN TREATING CHRONIC UROGENITAL CHLAMYDIOSIS IN SEX PARTNERS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, dermatovenerology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with detecting curability degree against chronic urogenial chlamydiosis in sex couple. At the end of 4^th, 8^th,12^th and 16^th wk after therapy finish in case of sex life at applying a condom one should , first, evaluate clinico-laboratory signs in the foci of chronic infectious process and, also, the dynamics of laboratory values which characterize agent's elimination (IgA to C.trachomatis in blood serum and DNA C.trachomatis in cervical tract and urethra). In case of positive results in future (after 16^th-17^th wk) it is recommended to perform sex life without applying any condom and conduct clinico-laboratory evaluation in both partners at the end of 4^th, 8^th and 12^th wk after condom's removal (at the end of 20^th, 24^th and 28^th wk after therapy finish) and after availability of positive PCR-test (in males' urethra, in females" urethra and/or cervical canal) one should evaluate repeated infection (reinfection) from the partner in case of poorly cured chronic urogenital chlamydiosis, in case of no positive PCR-test in both partners, and negative serological values (IgA) and no clinico-laboratory signs of the focus for chronic and acute infectious process being characteristic for chlamydiosis - one should detect curability degree in sex couple.
