FIELD: processes and equipment for assembling and welding particularly gas ducts for transporting high temperature and chemically active gases. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing tubular base having branch pipes in assembling jig together with hoses corresponding to such branch pipes; tack welding of butts and then welding pipeline simultaneously by means of two welding heads of mutually opposite pair of butts; performing welding through gaskets used as compensators of coaxial arrangement and providing accurate coincidence of predetermined pipeline geometry; making dressing along welded edges and performing gas-shield welding. EFFECT: possibility for making high strength welded joints without cracking of seams and of near-seam zones, enhanced operational ability of pipeline at extremal condition. 5 cl, 3 dwg
