SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding, particularly, to electron-beam welding in production of different-thickness structures from aluminium alloys. In the method, a protrusion is made on the first part with a larger thickness, on which a groove is made, the second part with a smaller thickness is placed on the protrusion with thrust against the first part, the butt zone is heated with melting and spreading of the metal of the first part into the butt zone, a weld seam is formed with an offset in the method. first part groove side. First, an additional groove is made on the first part to form a collar, the width of which is equal to the thickness of the second part, which is placed against the collar, the outer surface of which is located above the outer surface of the second part. Electron-beam welding is performed in automatic mode in one pass, welded seam is formed with fusion of bead and displacement towards groove of the first part; at that, formation of seam is provided without reduction of its working section.
EFFECT: obtaining high-quality and equal-strength welded joints during manufacture of structures of different thickness from aluminium alloys.
