FIELD: forging press equipment, namely constructions of power presses. SUBSTANCE: mechanism for adjusting closed height of power press includes stepped ram mounted in slide in parallel relative to its motion direction and joined with small head of connecting rod; fixation device in the form of thin-wall sleeve arranged in turning of slide and formed together with it annular cavity communicated with hydraulic circuit. Mechanism is provided with shoes embracing ram and made in the form of annular cylinder sectors embraced by thin-wall sleeve and mounted in turning of slide with possibility of radial motion.
