FIELD: press-forging equipment; construction of mechanical presses. SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism includes piston and locking unit made in form of thin-walled bush mounted in slide block of press forming circular cavity communicated with hydraulic main. Piston is mounted in press slide block in parallel relative to its motion and is connecting with small end of connecting rod of press for performing relative reciprocating motion. Proposed mechanism is also provided with cylindrical sleeve mounted in press slide block for performing axial motion; it is spring- loaded relative to said slide block. Piston is located in sleeve forming above-piston and under-piston chambers which are communicated with hydraulic main. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities. 1 dwg
