FIELD: typhlotomy-engineering, applicable for operative formation of graphic information in the relief view convenient for its tactile read-out by operators, as well as by people with a total loss of sight. SUBSTANCE: the device has a matrix with holes and microcorpses, punches made of non-magnetic material attached to it and having spherical heads and annular lugs, punch control including an electromagnetic drive, springs between the annular lugs of the punches and the inner side of the matrix, solenoids located on the bottom of each microcorps and containing magnetic cores, relief control unit electrically connected to the windings of the solenoids. The novelty is in the fact that the solenoids with the magnetic cores are arranged in circumference on the bottom of each microcorps along its inner side surface and oriented perpendicularly to the bottom of the microcorps, the tangent line to the upper parts of the magnetic core forms one turn of the helical line. The lower end of the core made of material with residual magnetization, and the upper parts of each magnetic core have shapes providing an enhanced stability of functioning. Introduction of new characters in the device makes it possible to synthesize the relief images with a larger quantity of quantization in the relief depth or height, which enhances the self-descriptiveness of relief images. EFFECT: enhanced self-descriptiveness improved resolution in the relief depth or height at a height self-descriptiveness of information read-out by operators having a low tactile sensitivity. 3 cl, 5 dwg
