MULTI-HULLED SHIP Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: building of smaller ships; building of multi-hulled ships, mainly pleasure, transport and sports boats. SUBSTANCE: proposed multi-hulled ship has central hull and side floats connected with it. Each side float consists of inflatable elastic envelope which is connected with ski at the bottom. Ski has dead-rise bottom and pointed nose section. Side floats may be mounted detachably for disconnecting them from central hull. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of ship during transportation in railway and automobile transport; reduced mass of ship and increased running speed. 2 cl, 4 dwg
