FIELD: metallurgy; transportation of slag pots with ingot moulds. SUBSTANCE: proposed tray contains base with fitted on stop and side walls made in form of semiposts. At least one post is arranged between side walls. Semiposts and post are provided with inclined surfaces changing into vertical slops required for preliminary and final orientation of containers at their placing on tray. Distance between vertical slopes provides small mounting clearance of 5-10 mm sufficient for accurate placing of ingot moulds with slag pots on tray, and minimum clearance between upper parts of two standing slag pots installed stationary on corresponding ingot moulds to preclude passage of slag in between at simultaneous charging with slag. Stop is made in form of beam being arranged side of ingot moulds with slag pots placing onto tray by means of loader. Thrust beam is rigidly secured to side walls and post from opposite side of stop. Stop and thrust beam serve as limiters in cross direction when placing, charging and transporting slag pots with ingot moulds and provide additional rigidity of tray, together with semiposts and post. EFFECT: reduced metal losses in slag, increased capacity at unloading of slag from melting furnace. 3 dwg
