FIELD: alternative fuels. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of rejected coal dust and non-commercial fines into improved-quality household- and technology-destined fuel. Processing involves preliminary treatment of coal slimes with water to give slurry containing 100 to 400 g/l solid phase. Resulting slurry is concentrated in apparatus wherein mineral rock with part of water is separated to produce fuel with 75 g/l water phase. Separated mineral rock and part of water are subjected to additional separation to clarify water, which is returned into slurry preparation stage.
