FIELD: electrolytic nickel-plating in aircraft industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an electrolyte for nickel-plating of titanium and its alloys. The invention is dealt with the field of application of metal coatings, in particular - nickel coatings produced by the galvanic method on items made out of titanium and its alloys of BT (VT) 3-1, B(VT)9 types and may be used in aircraft industry, etc. The electrolyte contains (in g/l): nickel sulfate - 10-30, ammonium oxalate - 40-90, sodium fluorine - 3-15, sodium acetate - 3-20, sodium bromide - 1-2, water - up to 1 liter. Technical result is a decrease the electrolyte cost, provision of the strong linkage of the nickel coatings with titanium or its alloys without performing a hydride film or a contact nickel-plating of titanium.
