FIELD: metal plating processes, namely electrochemical deposition of nickel and its alloys, possibly in different industry branches for enhancing wear resistance, corrosion resistance of parts used in air craft making, machine engineering, automobile manufacture and other branches of industry.

SUBSTANCE: electrolyte contains, g/l : nickel sulfamate, 300 - 440; nickel chloride, 4 - 15; cobalt sulfamate and(or) iron sulfamate, 12 - 27; boric acid, 25 -40; nano-powder of oxide of metal of groups IIIA, IVB, VB, VIB and(or) carbide of metal of groups IVB, VB, VIB, 2 - 100; surface active matter, 0.01 - 01; water, up to 1 l.

EFFECT: coating of nickel or its alloys having high micro-hardness, improved cohesion strength at low porosity, enhanced protection properties of coating in corrosion media.
