FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for underwater working of ground by means of dredgers and other underwater mechanisms. Proposed underwater ground intake device contains ground intake mechanism with ripper. Said mechanism is made in form of slot sucker of dragging type installed for rotation in horizontal plane and mounted by means of unit connecting ground intake mechanism to intake frame of suction-tube dredger. Support sheet is located under lower sheet of sucker. Layer-by-layer feed-action ripper is arranged on upper sheet of sucker, ripper being in form of vertical knives with fitted-on blades mounted stationary on shaft. Said shaft is installed for movement in supports on sucker lower sheet and is connected with drive through leverage. Number of knives and blades can be different or equal. Ripper blades are installed directly before suction hole, with their edges pointed to suction hole. EFFECT: provision of layer-by-layer delivery of removed ground at minimum turbidity and high ripping efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
